Certificate IV in Leadership and Management

The image is a painting that is about the creation story of the Gunaikurnai people - Borun and Tuk.

The project was developed and managed by Tennaya Hood where she hosts a children's art exhibition during 25 - 7 August 2016 at the Latrobe Regional Gallery. The image was painted by the Moore street Preschool in Moe and done in collaboration with Ronald Edward a local Aboriginal Artist, where he taught the preschools about the creation story, the emanating behind the symbols and much more.

The participants in this image are: Julie wilson Sharon Kingaby Mikila Sharkie Tennaya Hood Jodie Dothat Teacher: Juliet Church All the participants have successfully complete the units of the Certificate IV in Leadership and Management which was delivered at Lake Tyers Training Centre which commenced at the beginning of this year and is an initiate of Koolin Balit to provide leadership and management skills to the staff employed within the ACCHO's and community organisation across the gippsland corridor.

The Training was supported by the Lake Tyers Health and Children's Service and would like to congratulate the participant for completing the training. The images are form an end of year trip to Melbourne where they were also given a behind the scenes tour of the Indigenous collection at Melbourne Museum. We must thank Myles Russell-Cooke for showing us through the collection.
